Joshua Webber is a visionary filmmaker, director, producer, and screenwriter, as well as the CEO of Webber Films, LLC. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and raised in Montreal, Canada, Webber graduated in New York and went on to establish his career in Los Angeles, California—where he quickly distinguished himself as a masterful storyteller with a rare ability to translate the human experience into emotionally resonant, visually compelling narratives. His work spans feature films, documentaries, and high-impact commercial campaigns, each marked by cinematic precision and thematic depth.

Through collaborations with global powerhouses such as General Motors, Ford, DreamWorks, McDonald’s, Warner Brothers, and Budweiser, Webber has created content that captivates, endures, and leaves a lasting cultural imprint.

His debut short film, Batter Up (2009), earned the Golden Honu Award for Best Family Short at the Big Island Film Festival and was celebrated across North American film circuits. In There (Is) Many Like Us (2015), Webber explores the harrowing Holocaust survival story of his grandfather—an emotionally gripping documentary that received recognition in The Jewish Press and The Canadian Jewish News, and is now available on Amazon and iTunes.

Webber’s feature film portfolio reflects a dynamic command of genre and tone. Secrets of Deception (2017) and Never Heard (2018) showcase his ability to craft gripping, character-driven narratives, with Never Heard premiering in over 500 theaters and reaching international audiences through Netflix and Gravitas Ventures. He also produced Born a Champion, a martial arts drama starring Sean Patrick Flanery and Dennis Quaid.

Among his upcoming projects, the psychological thriller Love Me Dead (formerly ISSAC), starring Dove Cameron and RJ Mitte, is slated for theatrical release and backed by a major distributor.
